ABS is acrylonitrile, butadiene, styrene copolymers of the three

ABS performance: density 1.06, processing temperature 210-275, mold temperature 50-90, shrinkage 0.4% -0.9%, melting point 175 degrees, the general ratio A: B: C = 20:30:50.

Advantages: hard, easy to process, product size and stability, good surface gloss, easy dyeing, heat resistance, low temperature resistance, flame retardant, impact resistance, surface metallization, plating, welding, pressing and bonding, etc. Secondary processing, non-toxic and tasteless.

Disadvantages: poor solvent resistance, low dielectric strength, low elongation.

Applications: Widely used in machinery, automotive, electronics, instrumentation, textiles and construction industries, is a widely used thermoplastic engineering plastics.

PVC is Polyvinyl chloride

PVC performance: density 1.38, processing temperature 180-200 degrees, mold temperature 20-50, shrinkage 0.6-1.5%, Vicat softening point of 70 degrees.

Advantages: good dimensional stability, low cost, good weather resistance, non-flammable, high strength, plus different proportions of plasticizer, can be easily adjusted hardness.

Disadvantages: poor chemical resistance, thermal decomposition will produce hydrogen chloride.

Application: For strength and hardness such as pipe and fittings, doors and windows and packaging sheet, suitable for the production of sheet, wire and cable insulation, seals and so on. It is also possible to make very soft films, sheets, wires and cables, flooring, synthetic leather, coatings and other consumer products.

PP is polypropylene

PP performance: density 0.915, processing temperature 250-270, mold temperature 40-80, shrinkage rate 1.5-2.5%.

Advantages: easy to stain, moisture, chemical resistance, good impact, high hinge characteristics.

Disadvantages: complex shaped extrusion is not easy, poor cold resistance products, low-temperature impact strength is low; products are susceptible to light, heat and oxygen in the use of aging, easily broken by ultraviolet light; poor coloring; easy to burn; toughness is not good, static electricity High degree of dyeing, printing and adhesion poor.

Applications: automotive industry (mainly using metal additives PP: Fenders, ventilation tubes, fans, etc.), equipment (dishwasher door liner, dryer duct, washing machine frame and cover, refrigerator door liner, etc.) , Consumer goods (lawn and garden equipment such as lawnmowers and sprinklers, etc.).

PS is polystyrene

PS Performance: Density 1.05, molding temperature 170-250, mold temperature 30-60, shrinkage 0.6-0.8%, is a colorless and transparent plastic similar to glass, with a glass transition higher than 100 degrees Celsius, such as disposable foam lunch boxes.

Advantages: excellent electrical insulation, colorless and transparent, water-based coloring, good chemical stability.

Disadvantages: strength in general, crisp. Easy to produce stress out, benzene, gasoline and other solvents.

Application: suitable for the production of transparent insulating parts, decorative parts and chemical equipment, optical equipment parts, production of packaging containers, daily necessities and electronic / electrical appliances.

PET is polyethylene terephthalate

PET Properties: Density: 1.38, shrinkage 1.0-1.55%, processing temperature: 225 ~ 275 ℃, mold temperature: 40 ~ 60 ℃.

Advantages: good dimensional stability; excellent mechanical properties; creep small; good electrical properties; excellent weatherability; organic flux resistance, oil and weak acid; gas resistance water resistance; with self-extinguishing.

Disadvantages: but poor corona resistance; printing ink is not good enough; not soaked in hot water resistance; not alkali

Application: common in the requirements of water resistance, oil and chemical resistance, high temperature and other high performance labels for food packaging, common in mineral water bottles, carbonated beverage bottles and other bathroom supplies, cosmetics, all kinds of electrical appliances, machinery products Wait.
