1. According to its use, it can be classified as:
Common boards are: transparent boards, dyed translucent boards, opalescent boards (porcelain white boards), color boards (solid color boards), black boards;
Special boards are: bathroom board, cloud board, mirror panel, splint board, hollow board, impact board, flame retardant board, super wear-resistant board, surface pattern board, grinding board, pearlescent board, electroplated board, metal effect board, etc.
2. According to the manufacturing process, it can be classified as:
A: Cast slab: As the name implies, it is a slab made by melting and pouring acrylic raw material particles. High molecular weight, excellent stiffness, strength and chemical resistance. Therefore, it is more suitable for processing large-sized plaques, which takes a little longer than the softening process. This kind of sheet is characterized by small batch processing, incomparable flexibility in color system and surface texture effect, and complete product specifications, practical for various special purposes.
B: Extrusion plate: The extrusion plate is formed by extruding acrylic raw material particles at high temperature. Comparing with cast slab, extruded slab has lower molecular weight, weaker mechanical properties and higher flexibility. However, this feature is conducive to bending and hot forming, and the softening time is short. It is advantageous to various kinds of rapid vacuum suction moulding when dealing with large-sized sheets. At the same time, the thickness tolerance of extrusion plate is smaller than that of casting plate. Because the extrusion plate is a mass automatic production, the color and specifications are inconvenient to adjust, so the product specifications diversity is limited.
C: Recycling board: Acrylic recycling board is also called reclaiming board, which uses reclaimed acrylic edge and corner material. After thermal degradation, regenerated MMA (methyl methacrylate) monomer is obtained, which is then obtained by chemical polymerization. Pure MMA monomers can be obtained after strict process flow, and there is no difference in quality between new synthetic monomers and pure MMA monomers. However, the degradable monomers produced are of low purity, and their quality and properties are poor after forming.
